The purpose of the Canine Benefactors Society is to educate owners, children, students and the general public in aspects of dog safety including interaction with dogs, awareness of dog related responsibilities for owners and those interacting with dogs, by design or by chance; through school education and visitation programs, public presentations at schools and libraries, seminars, public service media announcements, targeted educational ads and printed educational and informative literature, and internet based educational services.
